Due to risk
of age-exhaustion of the hard plastic on the chest and back protection from the
brand Ride North, all protectors are recalled from the market.
When the
plastic is old and dry it risks to crack when subjected to force, the protection
will then loose its function. Therefore all protectors are recalled and should

This was one of the major risks that we
discussed when we where in the developement of the KORI protection… we did not
know by then that the hard plastic protectors included the risk, we just knew
that the aging of hard plastics is extremely hard to control… I just hope that the cracking in these protectors were detected in a test,
rather than a crash…
