A happy coincidence or simply pure luck..

We are very happy to announce that we managed to make both husband and wife happy on this years motorcycle fair.

The couple Morgan and Ewa came down from the north of Sweden to have a weekend in Stockholm in connection with the big motorcycle fair (MC-mässan).

On the fair they participated in the SMC-contest of announcing 2013 years "standard-motorcycle" which came to be Kawasaki ER6N. In this contest Morgan won second price which were a KORI Coyote, our back protectorand backpack!

As a happy winner Morgan, together with his wife Ewa drove north after the weekend and soon after Ewa got an email saying that she won first price in one of the smaller contests - and she won a pair of KORI Squirrel -our sport socks.

So, today we are sending out these two prices to the same household- to Ewa and Morgan, a happy coincidence or simply pure luck - that is gonna come sometime!

We are happy to have met this nice couple and we would like to congratulate them for their well won prices! 

Whoever you are - Motorcycle Fair 2013

Right now in Stockholm, formerly known as the Swedish motorcycle exhibition "On Two Wheels", this year the fair has simplified its name to simply call itself "Motorcycle Fair 2013". A promising change from our view, as this brings out their well chosen and oh so true slogan: 

"Whoever you are"

They want to convey the message that anyone can drive a motorcycle, and it's really! Driving a motorcycle no longer needs to be about becoming a biker or in any way place you in the category of "motorcyclist". Driving a motorcycle is all about experiencing something special. Driving and being transported in a way that brings special feelings of freedom, flexibility and spontaneous.

These feelings are so special that they was the start of the entrepreneurial spirit that is the foundation of KORI, our passion, our products and our vision.

Some recognize that feeling on a pair of skis in the snow-capped mountain, on a mountain bike in challenging terrain or on a longboard on a steep slope. It's speed and movement, it is focus and concentration it is a challenge.

Whoever you are, you can ride a motorcycle - and what you will experience, you will most certainly love.

KORI together with D3O at Intermoto

A week ago, the 3-7 of october in Cologne the fair for the joy of two wheeels was held – it is called Intermoto. This year there were more than 203,000 visitors at Intermoto, and of course KORI was there!

Our KORI back protector was hanging o a rail together with several other D3O products in their masive stand. Most exciting is that many already had heard about the new concept of protectors – KORI. KORI is growing and spreading over the world - this is fantastic!

Together with D3O KORI can make an impact to encourage safety and encourage freedomI!

“The coolest news on the motorcycle fair” – that is KORI!

Aftonbladet (Aftonbladet Bil bilaga Nr1. 2012/02/20-26), a Swedish news magazine, writes about the news from the motorcycle fair in Gothenburg..

"The coolest news in personal equipment was a completely new back protector developed by the company KORI in Lund which, once you have parked your bike, can be folded out and be used as a backpack with space for the personal equipment, flexible!"

We want to be different, we are different!

From the very beginning we knew we did not want to become one in the crowd. We strive to be different and go our own way. On Swedens Largest Motorcycle fair in Gothenburg we got confirmation that we have succeeded.

KORI was at the fair with a product that never existed before. A design that is plain and uncomplicated. A brand whose name and history comes from the exciting and sprightly feeling that comes from being out “in the wild" on the bike or whatever suits the interests of users and seasonal weather.

KORI in motorcycle magazines!

Perfect timing for when the motorcycle fair in Gothenburg took place KORI came in to another two motorcycle magazines!

First, KORI was included in a big and comprehensive test of back protectors in the member magazine of the Swedish motorcycle organization, SMC, “Motorcycle People” # 2.12, where the final grade was taken down cause of the high price but the KORI and D3O protection did very well in impact test!

Kori was also featured in a mini-test in the magazine “All About MC” No.2, 2012, where, despite the fact that they missed that they also could use the upper part of the cover, managed to bring down the leather suite as well as the textile equipment, the conclusion was a cool-index almost in the top!

“KORI = The coolest news at the motorcycle fair” (we think, of course!)

Last autumn we ended 2011 in november by showing our KORI-D3O concept at the snow fair WinterShow 2011 in Stockholm.

Now we start 2012 by showing KORI-D3O at the big motorcycle fair Påtvå hjul 2012 in Gothenburg, 26-29 januari. And it feels great to be showing our back protector and backpack to the motorcyclists! We are right in the middle of all preparations needed before a fair. We are lucky we don’t have big and heavy motorcycles to transport… Our KORI-D3O only weighs about 1 kg =)

We’ll be standing together with BrödernaNilssons MC-Tillbehör from Helsingborg, experienced guys in the motorcycle business and used to this kind of big events. It’ll be fun to present the KORI-D3O together with them!

It’ll also be fun looking at all those gorgeous bikes!

The Motorcycle Fair

It was time again, on 27-30 January, after a year hiatus, it was back - Sweden's biggest motorcycle fair.

No, KORI did not participate - we are not there yet, but we went there and we got the chance to meet them all. We had to meet to get to know the industry and we got a taste of what the season will be able to offer.

Some of them we met:

SMC - a great organization for all Swedish Motorcyclists!

SVEMO - What would motorcycle sport be without Svemo? Swedish Motorcycle and Snowmobile Federation.

Bilsport&MC - the insurance company that understands the motorcyclist.

Motorrad - Our Swedish edition of Europe's biggest motorcycle magazine!

Bike - A sporty, yet wide motorcycle magazine for all of us who love to ride motorcycles.

MC-Nytt - Sweden's oldest motorcycle magazine to highlight the joy we experience as motorcyclists.

AlltomMC - magazine with genuine passion for riding bikes in all forms.

See "on-two-wheels-movie" where motorcyclists talk about their feelings about the bike - always great to hear! Freedom. Joy. Adventure.

The MC Fair really gave us butterflies in the stomach. Much-needed under the circumstances!
