KORI Torso

Ending this work week with finishing the first prototype of a possible KORI Torso Protection. Tomorrow we will be visiting the Raceway in Knutstorp again, I will be there, KORI will be there and also the new torso prototype will have to follow this time :-)!

A day at the RaceWay

On spot with KORI at Ring Knutstorp Raceway - its been a year since I was here with SMC taking a course myself, it's a fantastic atmosphere! Even with the best of atmosphere anything can happen.. Some tiny raindrops is enough.. The leftover of the motorcycle looked frightening by the guy driving seem to manage..

The litte flag shines a little extra today.

The 6th of June, National Day Sweden. It makes me think of our small Swedish flag on the KORI back protector and why we have chosen to keep the manufacturing here in Sweden… Sure, it makes it easier, sure it is a mark of quality and sure it gives a sense of well being, but most of all it is a damn good gut feeling.

Celebrating the National Day is not just about celebrating a nation and it's certainly not about the origin or background, but it is all about community and what we create together. The relationships we create and the confidence we build! My philosophy (although I'm not always good to meet it) is to take every opportunity to celebrate and today is a very good reason! 

Proud to say that KORI is MADE IN SWEDEN!

Back protector – Smart design.

“We recently received a back protector and I have now had the chance to test it for some weeks. I really like the idea behind it. I am concerned about safety and uses the best possible protection of my work here at the magazine, but also private and being able to take off the back protector and use this as a backpack is smart. It actually works very well with many clever details. The back protector itself has the highest the level of protection that you can have. Kori has collaborated with d3o and this material d3o supplies are very smooth, it was nice way to carry the back protector when weighs almost nothing, while it provides the best possible protection against accidents.” 

Maybe a new product for KORI?

Product development goes foreward! This could be the next KORI product - a new KORI accessory! Here, Martina and Anna is showing the first prototyp, the design is starting to take shape! Super Exciting- tomorrow it is time for their graduation presentation at Malmö Högskola where they will present this project!

A perfect day on and off the bike…

To enjoy the spring weather and get to enjoy something that is otherwise stringydistances and still be prepared presentable. It is a freedom and flexibility to quickly get used to and take for granted...

A quiet and early morning, heading out for a day full of interesting meetings ..

First stop: breakfast seminar with Trade-organisation in the city-center of Lund. Parks motorcycle outside a gallery and  with the KORI back protector packed with equipment a took a moment get inspired the painting displayed in the window..

Second stop: a meeting with the local newspaper in Kävlinge, a 10 km motorcycle ride from Lund. Sets the motorcycle a short distance from the address, I dress off the equipment put it on the motorcycle .... and pause to reflect for a moment "Did I carry all this around before ... before I had Kori ... or what did I do really ..." 

…then I packed up the equipment in the KORI backpack and went to the meeting ...

On the way to the next stop, I had to stop the motorcycle just to take in the scent of the bright yellow canola fields. .. it's a beautiful period in Scania and it is a fantastic day.

Last stop: back in the center of Lund

I sat down on a café to eat while waiting for the next meeting.

Martina and Anna, studying product developement and is in the middel of their thesis for KORI. They have made exiting progress during the spring, the meeting was a really good end to this day!
