Mona Forsnes at Bikeport

Our friend from Norway, Mona Forsnes, has previously driven with the KORI back protector on rides in the city where she has experienced the freedom of being able to take off the equipment and store it in the backpack.  

In this article she describes the other possibilities that comes with this new concept. She compares it with a normal backpack after using it on the flight. She also describes how KORI can make a day on the beach even more relaxing, just knowing that the equipment still will be there when she returns to the bike to go home.

Mona arrives with the bike to the city..

She steps off the bike, dress off the equipment and open up the back protector..

The jacket and the helmet is then put in the backpack.

And... at last, Mona is ready for a walk in the city!

We have just gone through all the contributers to a quizz we had this summer. We had a tiebreaker where to say what is the best thing about riding a motorcycle. There were so many beautiful motivations, memories and stories, but we finally chose our five winners!

We would like to share one of them with you:

The feeling of freedom is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I ride away and take a picnic and we forget time and space. It's good to be able to calm down in this stressful world we live in :)

This is what it is all about, get away and spend some time, forget some time, forget some space... out in nature on a motorcycle, a pair of skis, a bicycle or what ever...

Motorcycle traveling in Tuscany

We want to share a summer memory from Tuscany. During summer, KORI followed Jonas from SMC on a motorcycle trip to Tuscany. Jonas, a travel guide at SMC (Sveriges Motorcyklister) has done completed motorcycle adventure travelling around the whole world, this year they went to Tuscany and on the back Jonas had the KORI back protector / backpack!

 "The back protector is very comfortable to wear. Also the function of transforming to a backpack is very good, I used it as a backpack on several occasions but never while driving!"

Motorcycle event

En route to the weekly motorcycle event in Lödde. This time as a visitor, finally seated myself behind the handlebars!

On site at the Tuesday meeting with Mike, a new and happy Kori users :-) happy to be able to take of all equipment!

Summer Bike Meet 2012

This weekend we will participate on the ”Summer Bike Meet”, a motorcycle event at Hanksville Farm, a Bikers Place with a nice athmosphere. Motorcyclists travel from all over sweden to meet over a weekend to enjoy the countryside together. We were there, mother and daughter excited to show our KORI – a new concept of back protectors.

Living the dream

A fantastic evening! This Thursday offered an evening the Swedish artists Laleh together with Timbuktu & Damn at the glorious Sofiero Castle.

Ready to go, picnic was packed (it was an outdoor concert)!

The road along the coast driving north up to Sofiero offered incredible contrasts of arable land, city life and "French-Riviera-esteem" a coastline and coastal idyll that should be experienced, not least on the motorcycle! Closing in to the castle, all cars was instructed to park far away from the castle… while on a motorcycle we were instructed to proceed to the car park right in front of the entrance, there is always a gap for motorcycle!

As the weather was nice and warm, we undressed the motorcycle equipment fast and packed it into the KORI backpack... 

..strapped on the blanket easily accessible in the elastic strapping on the outside of the backpack.

We made it through the security check "Bottles & dangerous object" with an impressed comment about the packing volume and the comfort of getting rid of the equipment! Maybe the security-girl also drove motorcycle ...

Then we packed up the blanket and picnic and waited for the artists! The backpack with the equipment were perfect pillows :-) 

We were not alone excited about tonight's show ...

Enjoyed a fantastic concert with Timbuktu and Damn which this year celebrates 10 years together and gave us a lovely dance show!

Then came Laleh! I can not help thinking that she is the perfect combination of Ronja, Dileva and Björk.. A very private and not fully thought through interpretation of course .. yet .. She offered a personal presence, with a bright & dramatic show!

After a few hours in the great castle environment and with a nice summer heat we were and happy ready to go home! With the motorcycle we drove smoothly past the traffic jam and then remained a nice trip home. Evening and night driving is underestimated, the air is cooler, the roads are empty and night lighting creates a special, exciting, almost mysterious feeling .. It was lovely. 

An incredible evening, where the motorcycle and our back protector made it all go easy and giving it the extra touch of satisfaction!
