Review: Ocelot in Meribel

We have the pleasure to share the experience and some pics from one of our first users of the new back protector KORI Ocelot. Jan Spjuth from Löddeköpinge is skiing during winter and drives the motorcycle during the warmer parts of the year. Here, he shares his experience after skiing with Ocelot on his ski trip in the French alps, Meribel, where he enjoyed wonderful skiing and great after ski:

"We had a fantastic trip with sunshine and good skiing. A first reflection is that I am  incredibly satisfied! It fits great on the back and is not nearly as hot as the previous back protectors I have used, Hallman, Scott, Alpine Stars. Before, I have taken off my back protector as soon as possible when I have gone indoors, now on the journey, I was sitting on the after ski and forgot to take it off ..... …it's also a fun detail that the Swedish flag is visible on ocelot, even though it is mostly under the jacket .. the size is good and it is perfect for both skiing and motorcycling."

Ocelot is finally here, in 9 different size combinations!

We have had a great respons to the upcoming Ocelot back protector with D3O, which we have confidently called “The most comfortable back protector on the market”. Today we are sending away all pre-orders to the new Ocelot owners who, some of them, has been waiting an awful long time. Why the development of Ocelot took longer than expected is primarily because we wanted Ocelot to introduce our new size range, which we are vey excited to introduce today!

Threw the years we have perceived the importance of having a back protector that really fit your body, both in back-length and in waist-measurement. Our sizes has covered a large range and we have especially got feedback that our large size actually has been for a large person, which seems to have been surprising for the customers that previously hasn’t been able to find a fitting back protector. 

With this new size-range we wanted everyone to feel that the protector is customise for their body. So we have developed a sizing-range where you combine your back-length and waist-measurement to get your own individual size-combo, this means that we now can provide 9 different size combinations (!) 

Today, all pre-orders are sent to their new owners, very soon you will be able to order directly from the webshop!

Powder and sunshine with KORI

We've received a greeting from our new test person Lina Sundgren who is currently in Italy in bright sunshine with lovely powder-covered mountains.

High mountains is her call, skiing is her passion and adventure is her middle name!

During 2013, Lina Sundgren will be out and test KORIOcelot our new back protector that will be launched next winter season. Lina is Environmental consultant at WSP in Malmö, she has worked for Ski Unlimited since 2006, she is involved in Camp Lofoten, and she has lived in both the Norwegian Lofoten and in the Alps.

We've followed her when she walked up the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, which brought both skiing and climbing and we will get to follow her to a ski adventure in Davos (Switzerland), in Morge (Italy), in Charmonix (France) and not to forget her favorite place on earth, Henningsvaer, Lofoten (Norway), where she will join tours and be involved in the CampLofoten. It feels incredibly inspiring for us to follow Lina on her adventures!
