KORI began as a groundbreaking innovation for motorcyclists, a vision of perfect freedom and uncompromised safety.
Today, we are growing into a brand with genuinely developed products with high Swedish made quality and we have
taken our vision of freedom and safety to meet sports enthusiasts with different specializations that and likeminded needs.

For us it is the feeling and experience of the sport or activity that sets focus on which needs to be solved and how
the products should be designed.

"Easter-Bunny" just in time

kori hare sportsock easter bunny
Instead of having the easter-bunny bringing you an egg with candy, we have KORI bringing you a ”bunny” with superior comfort and fit and optimal moisturise transport!

Just in time for Easter we are now launching our new sports socks KORI - Hare. It becomes a bit like a tribute to this holiday traditional symbol – the easter bunny.
The tradition of the ”Easter Bunny” is originally from Germany and is a symbol, just like Santa Claus that comes with eggs and candy to the children. When the Easter Bunny has been on a visit, it's time for the kids to find their Easter eggs oftenly hidden in the garden.
Anyhow.. our sport sock KORI Hare stands for all other values. KORI Hare is specially designed for the active and conscious consumer. The sock is a thin, lightweight sock for layer 1 (in three layer principle) with maximum moisture transportation. Hare is a longer model that is ideal for use of higher boots or boots as the motorcycle boots, ski boots, snowboard boots, horse boots etc. The sock is named Hare, not especially from the easter-bunny J but from the long-eared animal and its ability to move quickly and smoothly at high speeds. Hare is a functional socks for the demanding consumer.

The cold weather is continues

kori winter beanie cold weather made in sweden
The cold continues - be sure to not to forget the body's most important parts – the torso and especially the head. Did you know that 50-75% of body heat loss can go through your head if you forget the beanie?

When the body gets cold it starts a ”warming-priority-program” to protect the most important parts of the body, the blood vessels in your hands and feet will contract so that blood flow is concentrated to the vital organs - the torso and the head. This is a way for the body to save heat and energy. Though if you have no heat protection on your head, body heat will then go away though the head. At -10 degrees 50% of body heat loss goes through the head, at – 20 degrees that percentage can go up to 75%. So it is incredibly important to wear a proper beanie in cold weathers.

And of course we are prepared with the warm and comfortable winter beanie -KORI Hermine which is warming with a knitted soft acrylic yearn and an insulating fleece lining that makes the beanie ready for both cold and windy climates!

Powder and sunshine with KORI

kori ocelot back protector skiing lina sundgren

We've received a greeting from our new test person Lina Sundgren who is currently in Italy in bright sunshine with lovely powder-covered mountains.

High mountains is her call, skiing is her passion and adventure is her middle name!
During 2013, Lina Sundgren will be out and test KORIOcelot our new back protector that will be launched next winter season. Lina is Environmental consultant at WSP in Malmö, she has worked for Ski Unlimited since 2006, she is involved in Camp Lofoten, and she has lived in both the Norwegian Lofoten and in the Alps.

We've followed her when she walked up the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, which brought both skiing and climbing and we will get to follow her to a ski adventure in Davos (Switzerland), in Morge (Italy), in Charmonix (France) and not to forget her favorite place on earth, Henningsvaer, Lofoten (Norway), where she will join tours and be involved in the CampLofoten. It feels incredibly inspiring for us to follow Lina on her adventures!

Linas impression KORI Ocelot is that it is flexible, lightweight and comfortable!

Great review from france

kori coyote back protector dorsale protection skier racing

KORI has been tested for several month by Stephan Lacas a french skiing chief reporter for the magazine Skieur Racing and responsable for testing in the magazine Skieur and also director of snow-stories.com

Here is his impression of KORI Coyote, what more can we say :-)?

KORI COYOTE THE TWO IN ONE BACKPACK
It comes straight from Sweden and honestly, it does it. A real back protector that also turns into a backpack, light, practical, efficient. After testing it for more than a month, we can confirm the efficiency of the product, that is placed beneath the jacket as a pure back protector, but also on, as a backpack. Ergonomic, big enough to enclose the essential, the Coyote is forgotten when skiing while protecting your spine. What more do you wish for?
- Stephane Lacas, Skier Racing

A transition in adventures

Here in Sweden, March is a transition between the calm winter white snow and spring feelings. Many have done their ski holiday, but at least as many still have their skiing ahead. While we get to enjoy white frost mornings and clear winter air the sun starts indicating that spring is on the way.

This transition that lies before us is absolutely fantastic. The dark period of the year is going away, the days get longer and the Swedes are ”brought our from their caves”. For some, it means that the first motorcycle ride soon is here - for others it's about enjoying the last days of the white mountains - for some these feelings are side by side - and for some, who takes advantages of the whole year, this is the transition where asphalt and snow meets and get the chance to show their best sides.

Mars – an exciting transition for skiiers, motorcyclists, cyclists, hikers and all other adventurers.

We are lowering the price KORI Coyote

We are lowering the price of KORI Coyote from 450€ to 395€ and no, we are neither lowering by moving the production from Sweden nor by lowering the quality. Instead, we build sustainable relationships with both suppliers, partners and resellers and we  work with efficient logistics and delivery.

We do this because we want to show that we can keep the Swedish manufacturing and Swedish quality while reaching more people.

The new price applies from 1 March and the new price still includes free delivery within Europe.
